The 28th International Conference on Multimodal Interaction (ICMI 2026) will take place in Naples, Italy , from October 5–9, 2026 .
ICMI is the premier international forum for multidisciplinary research on multimodal artificial intelligence (AI) and social interaction. The 2026 theme, "Context and Cultural Awareness for Multimodal Interaction," explores how systems can leverage cultural and contextual understanding to enhance human-computer interaction.
